Can’t Swim and a Night of Punk at the Paris Theatre

Updated: Aug 22, 2020

The New Jersey-born punk of Can’t Swim brought a five-band bill to the Paris Theatre on Tuesday, March 5 for a jam-packed night of pop-punk.  While the crowd was slim for most of the show, there were a handful of spirited fans that kept the energy going throughout the night.

Portland-based Waves + Billows kicked off the show as the local opener with plenty of fans ready to support.

This was Youth Fountain‘s first date on the tour as they gear up for the release of their first full-length record entitled Letters to Our Former Selves, out March 8th. The Vancouver duo shared a passionate set and interacted with the fans singing the lyrics right along with them.

Save Face, known for their array of very visual, inter-connected music videos accompanying each song on their album, brought that same dedication to the stage with an entertaining set and some serious guitar work.

Homesafe‘s set rounded out the openers for the night with an insane amount of energy, complete with dramatic hair flips to go along with their pop-punk riffs.

Headliners Can’t Swim kept the energy of the crowd going with their enthusiastic fans screaming the lyrics to every song and moshing all the while.
