A R I Z O N A finds their place at the Wonder

Updated: Aug 22, 2020

The Wonder Ballroom filled with bright lights and roaring music as Arizona (styled A R I Z O N A) took the stage Thursday night for another sold-out show on their US Spring tour. Their highly-anticipated new single “Find Someone,” released back in February, was met with high praise.

Combining alt-rock and electro-pop, the band has made waves in the scene with over a billion streams worldwide. This US tour comes not long after their opening slot on Panic! At The Disco’s North American run last year.

They seamlessly transitioned from rock-infused hits to dance-worthy songs throughout the set, always keeping the crowd dancing and singing along. Their energetic songs hold deeper meanings with personal reflections of vulnerability, anxiety, and depression.

Arizona’s Portland date also brought the live debut of “Hold The Line,” a collaboration between the band and the late DJ Avicii. The song appears on Avicii’s posthumously released album, Tim.

Singer-songwriter morgxn opened the show with a fantastic set in support of his debut album Vital. His voice filled the room, his stage presence was phenomenal, and the crowd loved every minute of it. The singer talked openly about his life and celebrated Pride Month with the audience before his performance of his hit “Carry the Weight.”
